Few artists who create their own style of music manage to make each of their songs sound different. Marian Cristian Rosu manages to give each of his tracks its own spirit while still surprising fans. Marian was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1988 where he had a pretty hard life due to the fall of communism. Luckily, he and his family were able to come to America and make their dreams come true. Marian has always been into music starting with piano lessons at age four. He kept that up for 12 years and soon after he began playing the violin. However, he never really enjoyed the classical songs his teachers loved and taught. He wanted to do his own thing and started to record songs in Romanian. He started off with some Gypsy or Manele music. Within just two months he was using his keyboard and different programs to make some incredible music. Soon after he had his first Romanian song played on a Romanian station. It was quite a thrill and it only fueled his drive so that by the time six months had passed he was making music with techno beats and recording lyrics in English. He later began singing live at clubs and had a few of his songs played over the radio. He is unstoppable and driven purely by the sounds of music. What makes Marian different? What shapes his style?
