Moana & the tribe is an indigenous group from New Zealand (Aotearoa) producing music consisting of pop, hip-hop and Maori elements. Lead singer and songwriter is Moana Maniapoto. She started 1991 with a group called Moana and the Moahunters. Moana & the Tribe were formed in 2002.
