MoTrip [Mohamed El Moussaoui] is a German rapper of Lebanese descent from Aachen, widely regarded as one of the most skilled lyricists in German hip-hop. He rose to national prominence with his debut album Embryo (2012) and achieved massive commercial success with his 2015 follow-up Mama, which featured the multi-platinum hit single "So wie du bist". Known for his intricate rhyme schemes and soulful delivery, MoTrip is also a highly respected ghostwriter within the industry. After a period of focusing on collaborative projects like Mohamed Ali (with Ali As) and appearances on "Sing meinen Song," he returned to the spotlight with major live performances in 2025 and is currently touring his latest work through 2026.
