Mo Ko Do was formed in Blitar, East Java, Indonesia by five senior high school students in 2002. At first, the band was formed by the idea of Alik (drummer) and Donz (guitars) as they wanted to perform in farewell party of their Junior High School 2 of Blitar. Then, they asked Prast (vocals), Yoga (bass), and Kyky (guitars) to complete the line up. They fullfiled their expectation to perform in the farewell party. At that time, Mo Ko Do covered 'Buat Aku Tersenyum' (Sheila on 7) and 'Virus' (Slank). When they got graduated and started to study in Senior High School, they went to different schools. Actually, Alik, one of the founder, decided to resign from the band. Donz asked Leo, his bandmates in Reggen, to replace Alik as a Drummer. Kyky is also resigned, then replaced by Iwa as a guitarist, and their talented friend, Rahmat, was asked to join as a keyboardist. With the six-man band formation consists Prast (vocals), Donz (guitars), Leo (drums), Yoga (bass), Iwa (guitars), and Rahmat (keyboards), they went into Blitar's indie music scene. They won several music festival by covering songs like 'Strange De Ja Vu' (Dream Theater), 'November Rain' (Guns N' Roses), to local legends like 'Dunia' and 'Bara Timur' (Godbless). In 2005, they recorded their first album entitled 'Yang Pertama (Dan Terakhir)' / 'The First (and the Last)' as they disbanded in that year.
