MISSOURI DIRT was formed in the greater CHICAGOLAND area in 1977 and this release was the first for ILLMO RECORDS. THE release of IT`S FOR YOU!! by MISSOURIDIRT was recieved very well everywhere ,but seemed to really grab on to the CALIFORNIA BAY AREA scene of the late 1970`s. Sadly this group broke-up after only this one release leaving this album to be one of the most sought after recordings of the late 70`s JAM BAND ERA. DARRYL E.PRINCE,ESQ.founder of ILLMO RECORDS was the PROCUCER/SONGWRITER/DRUMMER for MISSOURI DIRT he has gone on to have a very LONG AND LUSTROUS career in the MUSIC SCENE with such notable performing and recording artists as DARRYL AND THE DARRYLIXX, THE ILLMO ALLSTARS and most recently UNCLE ILLMO`S BAND.And all of these artists are available here @ last.fm!
