Artist
Mission Giant has been making noise for more than a decade in North Texas. They have a sound that takes inspiration from Kraftwerk, Devo and a playful approach to electronic instruments that go way beyond the complex setup required for their live shows. Instruments include such things as modified and circuit-bent childrens' toys, gameboys, turntables, a whole array of moogs, or totally homegrown electronic instruments the world has simply never seen. There's a certain element of visual pop, as all their performances start with a concept that manifests itself both in the visual setup to the costumes which are ever-changing. A definite required listen is their latest album, Golden Triangle, an homage to the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Denton area and all the magic that happens inbetween. experimental electronic music from texas, USA. 1996 - present. http://missiongiant.com Take a look at their list of instruments: alaron my song maker electronic guitar alesis microverb 3 alesis microverb 4 apple imac power pc g3 apple macintosh classic apple macintosh powerbook g3 333 apple macintosh se audio technica limited edition 'st90' audiotronics 300-a classroom record player bell necklace body rap boss bass chorus ceb-3 boss bass overdrive odb-3 boss bass synthesizer syb-3 boss chorus ce-2 boss digital delay dd-3 boss digital reverb/delay rv-3 boss distortion ds-1 boss dr. rhythm dr-550 mk 2 boss flanger bf-2 boss octave oc-2 boss pitch shifter/delay ps-3 boss tremeolo tr-2 casio digit
