Artist
The gorgeous and perplexing Miss Violetta Beauregarde was born Cristina Gauri in 1977. She manufactures low-tech DIY electro-punk and consistently tours Italy and Europe, for which she has garnered some interest from the Italian music press. She also has a substantial following on SuicideGirls.com under the name "Aiki". A small indie label called Anemic Dracula Records released her first cd, Evidentemente Non Abito a San Francisco (Clearly I don't live in San Francisco), in April 2004. Her second record, Odi Profanum Vulgus et Arceo (I hate the vulgar rabble and drive them away), was released by Temporary Residence Limited in the fall of 2006. Her interests include entymology and taxidermy, and she also maintains a popular Italian blog.
