Miss Lana Rebel is American roots / country musician Lana Spillsbury based in from Tucson, AZ. She has also recorded as Miss Lana Rebel and the Broken Promises and as Miss Lana Rebel & Kevin Michael Mayfield. When in her twenties, Rebel played bass in math-metal band Last of the Juanitas. During that time, she learnt guitar by playing along to old country records and began writing her own songs. WIth the Juanitas boys as backing band, she toured as Juanita Family and Friends. After a while, the Juanita Family disbanded, and Rebel played with a backing band and recorded as as Miss Lana Rebel and the Broken Promises. In 2008 she recorded her first solo album, “All I Need”, with outlaw band Bartender's Bible as backing band. In 2015 she released the album "The Midtown Island Sessions" as Miss Lana Rebel & Kevin Michael Mayfield.
