1) MIRROR is a Hong Kong-based Cantopop boy group made up of 12 members. The group was formed through the ViuTV reality talent competition "Good Night Show - King Maker" (Chinese:ε ¨ζ°ι ζ) in 2018. The group name "mirror" is a metaphor that each member is unique and independent, and therefore infinite possibilities are created when they are gathered as a team. Members include Frankie Chan, Alton Wong, Lokman Yeung, Stanley Yau, Anson Kong, Jer Lau, Ian Chan, Anson Lo, Jeremy Lee, Edan Lui, Keung To, and Tiger Yau. MIRROR officially debuted on 3 November 2018, and they released their debut single "In a Second" (Chinese: δΈη§ι) on 25 November 2018. Mirror have been described by local and international media as "the new kings of Cantopop" and a "Cantopop phenomenon". They are credited for reviving the Cantopop genre, which had been slowly declining since the 2000s. Mirror's appeal in Hong Kong transcends demographics, and the group is regarded as a "symbol of hope" in a city struggling with political upheaval and the COVID-19 pandemic. 2) Mirror is a Dutch Symphonic progressive Rock band formed in 1972. At the time of its formation, the band was a four piece consisting of high school friends Kees Walravens on guitar, Johan Saanen on bass guitar and vocals, Paula Mennen on piano, organ, synthesizer and vocals, and Peter Fransen on drums.
