Mirjam Nastasi (* 7 June 1946 in Utrecht) is a German flutist, musicologist and university professor. Nastasi studied flutes and musicology in Utrecht and continued her studies later in Freiburg with Aurèle Nicolet and Hans Heinrich Eggebrecht. As a member of the Mobiel Ensemble Nederland as well as in collaboration with pianist Geoffrey Madge, she was primarily concerned with contemporary music, and later, in collaboration with artists such as Frans Vester, Frans Brüggen, Bob van Asperen and Michael Schneider, also with age music and traverse flute. With various orchestras and ensembles, she participated in numerous music festivals and gave master classes in several European countries. She is involved in various publications, such as the Flute Library in Amsterdam and the trade journal Tibia, and works on sheet music editions. for the Universal Edition Vienna. She is the editor of the "Die Soloflöte" series by C. F. Peters Frankfurt. She taught at the Royal College of Music in The Hague, the Musikhochschule Frankfurt and the University of Mainz. Since 1991, she has been a professor for flute and methodology, and from 1996 to 2006 she was the rector of the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.
