Min•sha•ra (min SHä rə) 1. adj. the classification for a planet capable of supporting humanoid life; 2. n. pop rock / electronica band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania From The Viper Room in LA to Webster Hall in NYC, Minshara has been spreading infectious pop melodies, dance grooves, and rock progressions to audiences everywhere. Characterized by energetic live performances enhanced by a light show and custom visuals as well as a distinct sound that is uniquely theirs, enthusiastic support for this band is never in short supply. Since their independent release of Oceans EP in 2011, Minshara has been featured on multiple Clear Channel FM and internet radio with stations on Pandora, Spotify, and more, using these outlets to reach as many listeners as possible. With this momentum, there is no sign of slowing down… Recently, Minshara has released their first single “Into the Night” as well as a self-produced music video for their second single “The Void” off their debut full-length IO (eye-oh), available digitally June 17, 2014. The album was produced and recorded by Taylor Larson (From First to Last, Periphery, Darkest Hour, Conditions, We Came As Romans, etc.) in Bethesda, Maryland. The band is excited to share all that they’ve been working on and is confident that this record will be their defining moment moving forward.
