Ministry of Ingsoc strives to invoke the dystopian world in George Owell’s book, 1984, in which all forms of daily life of its enslaved citizens are monitored by Big Brother, the anthropomorphic creation of the fascist regime of Oceana. MOI is inspired by musical acts such as KMFDM to speak out about social issues via music, and with musical styles of Cruxshadows, Razed In Black, and other industrial music acts.Primary musical direction and creation is done by “Comrade” Durandal Roland, with guest vocal artists and others assisting as well.
