Minisnap is essentially 3/4 of the Bats but much more than that. While Robert Scott has been busy with The Clean and solo projects the rest of the band have taken the opportunity to develop a new direction. After years of encouragement from Bats fans, Kaye Woodward has finally taken to writing and singing and she is doing it so well. Minisnap started out as a duo with Kaye and Paul Kean playing along to their computer built rythmn tracks. Songs of theirs featured on rdu's Hi Fibre compilation and Rip It Up chose "Nova" for their 2002 Summer Issue bonus CD.
