Mike Kelly - AKA - Mini K is a young fidget DJ/Producer from South Africa. He is a very passionate musician who is not constrained by any one genre of music. Finding value in all musical genres has helped him evaluate his own musical style and has allowed him to adapt to the changes currently taking place within in the music industry Mini K began in January 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa. After about two months of teaching himself how to produce a top quality productions, his first remix, Dylan H - Lalala (Mini K Remix) was signed to Flexual Records and was released to all major online music shops including djdownload.com and beatport.com. Without hesitation, Mini K – Show Stopper, one of his first originally produced tracks was signed to Phresh Digital. It was released exclusively to djdownload.com where it made it to number 24 in the top 100 electro charts and number 56 on the top 100 new releases. In June 2009 Mini K’s Debut EP – Jack Off Jill EP – featuring Mini K – Funky Lover (Original Mix) & Mini K – Jack off Jill (Original Mix) was signed to Electric Sushi Records and was released exclusively to Beatport.com where it reached number 75 on the top 100 electro chart. Jack off Jill gained a lot of attention from all over the world, reaching number 2 on the July Hot Mouth & Will Bailey Beatport Chart & was featured on many different blog’s including Disturbed Beats, Dankage Beats & Kidcity.
