Minhwi Lee is a South Korean contemporary folk singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical career as Mansu, from the experimental folk band Mukimukimanmansu. In 2015, she composed and produced the soundtrack for the film A Midsummerโs Fantasia. The following year, she released her first solo album, Borrowed Tongue (๋น๋ฆฐ ์ ), which won Best Folk Album at the 2017 Korean Music Awards. In addition to her solo work, Minhwi Lee is also active as a pianist in the jazz band Cubed and as a bassist in the band Gawthrop.
