mimika (みみか) is a Japanese artist with AtoNO Records. Her music is in the area of "sweet Jpop". mimika did not hesitate going around the country with a microphone and amplifier under her arm to sing in the streets in order to make herself known, and to sell cheap demo CDs. Doing a lot of street lives, she sold 6500 CDs in 84 days, and in January 2007, she was challenged to sell 1000 CDs in a day by a record producer. She succeeded in 6 hours and 15 minutes.
