Milton Friedman (1912-2006) was an economist, popularly known for his arguments for free markets. He created a well-known PBS series called "Free to Choose" in 1980. This series was a response to the series created by John Kenneth Galbraith, "The Age of Uncertainty." He is widely cited as one of the greatest libertarian thinkers of all time.
