Milo Shade takes island and contemporary music to the next level with their debut album, Sweet One. With a mix of rock, reggae, ska, salsa, island, and more, you're bound to experience a tantalizing adventure with each unique song. Milo Shade...completely refreshing! You gotta hear it to feel it! These talented young adults have known each other since childhood and would get together every chance they could during breaks between classes, after school, and even weekends to sing and play music. They would perform for friends or at family parties, but never seriously until 1999. Since then, Milo Shade has performed in Oregon, California and various nightclubs, eventually leading to a chance meeting with Wendell Ching. From that meeting, Milo Shade released their breakout-hit single, BIDI BIDI BOM BOM in 2000. Together again in 2003, the journey continues with Sweet One. Their name Milo Shade is reminiscent of the many times they had spent with each other on the Leeward side of Oahu playing music under the shade of the milo trees.
