In the beginning: Formed on the harsh Buffalo Suburban Streets in 1994, Andrew Keller (Lead vocals / bassist) , Gus Walters (guitar / bassist / backing vocals ), Ron Glose (guitarist / backing vocals) and Art Keller (drums / percussion) saw many changes in lineups and styles since its inception. Armed with a scarce handful of originals and a boatload of favorite cover songs, Milkrun took to Buffalo's The Continental in 1996 and had solid top billing there sharing the stage with many of Buffalo's up and coming bands. This however would not last. In 1997 the band faced it's first bit of turmoil - having to get real jobs. You see, being in a local band was not paying the bills. This harsh dark reality forced the band on hold while the Milkrun members focused on their schooling and careers. In the summer of 1999, a calling of sorts happened: Sitting around at one of their favorite local spots, the members began to reminisce of those lazy, no responsibility, post high school and college days. They talked of the song writing, the late night "Continental" days, and the music they had come to miss playing. The Mission Statement: A pact was made on that muggy late August night: They were to wipe the dust off the instruments, hole themselves up in a basement for 6 months straight and write an album full of new music.
