Born and raised in the small town of Sydprøven, Greenland, Jark Gurken was a quiet boy that mainly kept to himself. Living with grandparents Akaja and Franco Gurken, Jark soon discovered the world of computer music. “I heard people talk about this new revolution and usually put my fingers in my ears. After a while it would turn quiet again and I could take them back out”. After experimenting with numerous techniques and equipment he felt it was time for a stage name: “MilkMoneyMaffia” “It was a name that really had some letters in it and I liked that”. Obviously it was just a matter of time until Jark found his way to the microphone and started making real songs that would heal the heart as well as the soul. Nowadays Jark is discovering the world as he is performing his highly danceable electro tunes all over the globe bringing people what he calls: “Music”.
