Having spent the past 10-years working in the corporate world it came as a complete shock to his colleagues, friends and family when Mike Waters casually revealed he’d secretly been writing songs in his bedroom…. The first ‘demo’ he showed people quickly raced to be the number one most-played track on triple j Unearthed and pricked the interest of music industry types both locally and internationally.
