Mike Toomey is a touring comedian from the western suburbs of Chicago. He is particularly known for his comic observations of television, particularly from his childhood in the late 1960s and 1970s. He has frequently appeared on the morning news program on WGN television in Chicago, portraying one of his numerous characters such as sportscaster Skip Parker. He is also a talented mimic perhaps best known for his imitation of Adam West. His 2001 album "TV and Other Stuff" includes a combination of bits from his shows as well as comic songs and stories.
