His work on the famous Bill Nye show earned him an Emmy for "Outstanding Writing in a Children's Series" in 2000. Before focusing on TV and film, he produced records for artists such as ALT, David Bowie, Cypress Hill and Vanessa Williams, as well as a short stint on MCA records with his own band, The Pink Fence.
