Mighty Poplar is an American roots/bluegrass project featuring Andrew Marlin (of Watchhouse), Noam Pikelny and Chris Eldridge (of Punch Brothers), bassist Greg Garrison (Leftover Salmon) and fiddler Alex Hargreaves. The band released their eponymous debut album in 2023. The ten songs include bluegrass and folk classics from The Carter Family to Leonard Cohen, recorded with the band sitting knee-to-knee in a woodsy studio outside Nashville.
