midnightARK // is an electronic duo from Jakarta, the pair met at college where they were both studying in 2006. Bonding over a shared love of fine electronic music, the pair began to make music together. Many obstacles faced, such as lack of equipments and so hard to find spare time, but they still survive until finally they can still remain productive. In creating music, they are inspired from bands both local and overseas, particularly electronics. Their style has been thought of as having some ambient influence and combines long bass lines with a harmonic synth sound. Their music often includes a complex drum beat, which results in an intelligent dance style. Some of their songs was released on several compilation albums. So lamented, plan to release their first album has not been achieved, this is due to several reasons, mainly financial. Yet, their love of music will not become a hindrance in spite of whatever happens. They are optimistic that next year the plan can be realized. "Well, we have issued some new materials, yes it takes some times, creating a song is not our priority, but we strive to develop what we have created previously. We receive good feedback from many listeners who help us in the evaluation. in the making of this, we make a preparation that is quite mature, assisted by some friends and a few new tools, we began seriously in the project.
