The Midi Gritty Boyz are a hip-hop trio from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The group consists of rappers Ruger Rill, Wi$e Profit, and Spliff Mifflin. The Midi Gritty Boyz gained local recognition for their Pittsburgh Steelers fight song "What U Know 'Bout the Black 'N Gold". The song accumulated over 100,000 views on Youtube in a matter of weeks and was featured on the local news as part of their coverage leading up to Super Bowl XLIII. On June 21, 2011, the trio released their debut full-length album entitled "Prescription Thugz". It can be downloaded for free at Datpiff.com.
