Born and raised in Elyria, Ohio, singer-songwriter and producer Danzell Capera, a.k.a middlechild, released his debut single "October 31st." The self taught multi-instrumentalist garnered attention in Kansas City as the creator and lead guitarist of alternative band BROTHER a few years prior. The band supported notable acts like X Ambassadors, The Griswolds, and Eliot Sumner along with multiple festivals throughout the city. The group eventually disbanded to explore other creative projects; hence the birth of middlechild. "October 31st" is a colorful blend of middlechild's love of pop, R&B, and rock. Capers has referenced artists like John Mayer, Usher, and Porches as some of his biggest inspirations.
