Artist
Mick Terry is an English singer/songwriter and was born and raised in Hoxton, London. His debut album, The Grown Ups (Emptyhead Recordings), was released in 2010 and features Philadelphia Power Pop legend, Jim Boggia, on Bass and Backing Vocals. This is piano power-pop at its finest, generously laced with influences from the '60's and '70's. A pinch of The Beatles, a touch of The Beach Boys, a few shakes of Jellyfish and a splash of Todd Rundgren all add up to nine classic songs about love, loss, faith and hope. The Grown Ups is an album of classy and intelligent melodic pop. Pop music for grown ups, if you will…. Mick is currently playing live dates in London to support the album’s release and recently played at the first ever International Pop Overthrow festival in London.
