Michele Varotto (Born: c.1550 Died: c.1599) was an Italian composer; born and died in Novara, Italy. His dedication of a Mass, four motets and a Magnificat to Carlo Borromeo indicates the cardinal attempted to lure him from Novara Cathedral to Milan in 1578.
