Michaela May Wright was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was a national swimmer from a young age and at 17 she moved to the United States on a swimming scholarship for Western lllinois University. After completing her Master degree, she decided to pursue a singing career. While spending 3 years in Tampa, Florida she worked with Allon Sams, an acclaimed jazz pianist and an international DJ/Producer in Miami. Michaela moved to London in August 2008, where she was spotted by Simon Ellis, internationally acclaimed songwriter/producer. Simon Ellis is responsible for many of S Club 7's hits. He also was the Musical Director for the Spice Girls and is currently the Muscial Director for Britney Spears Circus World Tour. Simon and Michaela worked on a 3 song EP at the end of 2008, which will be promoted early 2009.
