Alternative Singer/Songwriter Michael RR Wilson Echoes is an original song that crosses many genres of music. Lyrics straight from the heart that celebrate a second chance in a colorful and sometimes questionable life. Music has always been a part of Michael’s life in one form or another. He enjoys a very diverse library of music, to say the least. Although classic rock leads the way followed by Folk,R&B and Old School Rap/Hip Hop, classical music grounds his soul. Selective top 40s and country have been known to catch his ear from time to time. Michael has only recently started to write original songs, and at age 50, like his music taste; he has lived a very diverse life. This has helped coax him along in song writing through experience and expression. The results have been rewarding and simultaneously addictive. Michael’s latest single RUE has been a real labour of love. This is a song that is deeply personal to him and puts a real life experience out there like never before. Although it deals with sorrow, loss and addiction, Michael is at peace with its release and believes listeners will understand the larger picture. As with his single Echoes, released earlier this year, RUE is also collaboration with Michael’s good friend Jeff JB Brown who helped with arrangements, accompaniments and production; as only JB could do.
