Michael has had a very unique upbringing. By the time he was fourteen years old, he traveled to over forty countries with his parents for their event planning business. When their business focus shifted right before entering high school, his family gave up their home to move into a historic property and open a Bed and Breakfast. While living there for four years, Michael would perform original songs, as well as covers, for guests at weddings and other events held on site. He took up piano at the age of 10, and taught himself guitar while writing songs in high school. These experiences ultimately led Michael to his work as a songwriter and recording artist. While Michael is a Singer-Songwriter, his music can be described as alternative Pop with soulful influences. His primary musical inspirations are Otis Redding, Jack Johnson, and Bob Marley. He currently attends New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he majors in Entertainment Management and minors in TV and Film Production through Tisch School of the Arts.
