There are at least two artists named Micaela: 1. Italian pop singer 2. Portuguese singer 1. Micaela Foti (born in 1993 in Calabria) is an Italian pop singer. She debuted in 2009, where she took part in the program "Ti Lascio Una Canzone" and won numerous awards. A year later she released her first single "Da sola si", written by Gatto Panceri and Pat Legato. In 2011, Micaela participated in the 61st Sanremo Festival with the song "Fuoco e Cenere" but finished second place in the Sanremo Giovani, a breakthrough category, despite receiving the most televotes from the public. The song has reached over 1,000,000 views to date in YouTube. On March 9, 2012, Micaela was signed to Ultrasuoni and released her new single "Splendida Stupida", a powerful song written by Francesco "Kekko" Silvestre.
