The Miami Boyz were a Miami Bass Rap group who debuted in 1988, produced by Joey Boy Records in-house producer Calvin Mill II (former member of Pretty Tony's group Freestyle). Under this guise, the members Amazing B and Icy C released two albums: Getting Off in 1988, and Rollin' N Steppin' in 1990 (partly produced by Miami Bass legend, Eric Griffin). The Miami Boyz returned in 1992, albeit, as a completely different unit, since Joey Boy Records was restructuring. The new Miami Boyz was produced by DJ Fury, and featured co-production by new group member Ace the Bulldog. They released the album "The Outlawed Bass" in 1992.
