An excellent Progressive rock/metal quintet from Greensboro North Carolina in the U.S that started back in 1985 as a band called Messiah, a technical metal act in the likes of Voivod,Watchtower,Hades and fates warning which released some very highly acclaimed demos and received praise throughout the American underground Metal scene, later on from Messiah's ashes members erected Metropolis, carrying a plethora of influences stretching over the Metal genre and managed to gain popularity with many shows and in the end released an excellent album entitled "Unsure destination" (1994) a true product of ageless emotional and highly inspired Progressive music mixing acoustic guitars with flowing playful melodies and metallic almost jazzy/fusion rhythmical changes, topping with a singer who uses his voice as a "paint-brush" applying words and melodies on a dreamlike canvas of colorful emotions."Unsure Destination" is a seldom for back in the day item and most hard to find nowadays gem, makes one consider over and over why this Talented act didn't deserve much better than just a sudden disbanding and closing of a chapter that had just begun,Remember the name Metropolis, a true treasure awaits to be claimed !
