Merve Özbey Koçak (born 18 July 1988, Istanbul) is a Turkish singer. She studied Turkish Art Music at the State Conservatory of Turkish Music at Istanbul Technical University. Her career began as a backing vocalist; she was discovered by Ebru Gündeş and later worked as a backing vocalist for singers including Demet Akalın, Bengü, Özcan Deniz, Ferman Toprak and Utku. She became recognized in Turkey through her collaborations with producer Erdem Kınay: the song “Duman” (2012) and “Helal Ettim” (2013) helped bring her public attention. Her first solo album Yaş Hikâyesi was released in July 2015. Her second studio album Devran was released in May 2019. In her personal life, she married businessman Kenan Koçak on 9 February 2020.
