Mert Ener was born in Istanbul, 1981. He started to his music training at the very last years of the primary school. In those years, his main instrument was keyboard which was also the first one learned to play. He studied verbal section in high school. All three years of high school were not productive in terms of music. He gave himself just to listening in order to build a music library in a wide range of different variety of genres from baroque to alternative rock. When he started to collage, he was ready to produce and perform. In the very early times of the university, he was performing keyboards of Grup Terminal which was founded by his near mate Serkan Ciner. He was willing to learn how to play guitar because in most cases keyboard was needing electricity and not portable. He composed most of his songs at the very late years of the collage by his Fender Gemini III. He met with Kutay Yavuz in 2003 who was a medicine student at that time. Kutay Yavuz was leading a band called Kraxx and performing covers of Rock n roll and Blues ballads. Then, Mert's active music life began during his political science education, he performed vocals in universities' spring festivals and live music bars with the band Kraxx. He composed both instrumental music and lyrical songs until today. He began to his first album recording at 1 July 2011 and is still working on it with his close friend and arranger Kutay Yavuz.
