Merendine Atomiche reach 14 years in Heavy Metal scene in this 2009. For the long story of this five pieces act we choose to write it year by year: 1995 - Merendine Atomiche born by five school mates in Cittadella (Pd) Italy. The band performed its first show in a birthday party, playing cover of several bands, with the name of "Vanishing Wizards". 1996 - The band changed its name in "Merendine Atomiche", performing a couples of shows, but the line up remained very unstable and, soon, new changes came up. 1997 - The band changed its name in "Mantra" but, also this project failed, so, the band, back to call itself "Merendine Atomiche" and, with new line up formed by founder member Luca Cerardi on drums, Luca Zandarin on vocals, Giulia Cerardi on rhythm guitar and Luca M. on bass, recorded the first demo tape at King Kong Studios in Cittadella, Padova, Italy in december. The demo tape called simply "Demo 1997" contains four Thrash-Hardcore songs sang in Italian. 1998 - The demo tape had only a few reviews in italian magazines. The band, also, officialy broke up on march but, soon, rose up with new members. Merendine Atomiche, following this new project, prefered to play cover than to keep going on with its own stuff. They prefered to get experience. In July they became Metallica tribute band and started to play covers in the clubs. 1999 - with this new line up Merendine Atomiche played a long tour in its own Region Veneto for the entire year until October, where they rec
