Mercury Motors is one of Norways most underrated band. At the end of the eighties and in the early nineties it was DumDumBoys, September When and de Lillos who got the headlines. All the while Mercury Motors kept on bringing out great albums without getting the big breakthrough. Mercury Motor was Jørn Christensen (DePress, Thinkerbell & Young Neils), Per Vestaby(Veslefrikk, CanCan & Young Neils) og Øyvind Hansen. From 1988 until 1996 they released five albums.
