Mentor's Wish was a progressive metal band from Stockholm, Sweden. They formed in 1996. Their last known lineup consisted of Johan Engström (vocals), Johan Wikström (guitars), Christer Wiik (bass), Eric Lijero and Fredrik Scherman (drums). Sonus Records was the last label they were signed to. Sonus Records released their only album The Fine Thread of Sanity in 1998. The band disbanded at an unknown point in time.
