Mehak Ali is a singer originally from Nankana Sahib, Pakistan and currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She started her music career with a local music competition at the age of 8. In 2012, she won the Pakistani music competition Music Talent Hunt. She is best known for her singles 'Kameez Teri Kaali' performed at Nescafe Basement, providing her vocals for Lahore Teray Tay, which featured on the Lollywood film "Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2", and featured in the 2017 Bollywood film "Sheitaan" which got her nominated for Mirchi Music Award for Upcoming Female Vocalist of The Year at the 10th Mirchi Music Awards, becoming the first Pakistani singer to be nominated for this award.
