Mostly it is music, under neath the riddle of sorts of WHAT Meerkat is, it is an on going project of Producer/DJ Joshua Ryan Trout who is the proud offspring of Mohammad, Siva, and the Egyptian Goddess Isis. Meerkat has released The Lady on the Lily Pad late in 2009. Meerkat's work has appeared on a number dance and remix compilations offered by British DJ and Producer James Holden. Joshua is from San Diego, California and has been charted by DJs around the world including James Holden, Gill Norris, Nathan Fake, Petter, Avus, and The MFA since as early as 2003. They describe their music as raw, loud, and emotional, blending gothic drama with a modern edge. The band, consisting of Yaco, Areli, Charlie, and Antoni, aims to create a cinematic vision of beauty, rage, and chaos in their music.
