Medieval Times is the main project of Times, Sound Artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. It oscillates between experimental electronic, ambient and dream noise, but does not belong to a particular genre, understanding music as the alchemy of sound. Influences goes from Nicolas Jaar to Radiohead and my bloody valentine. Times floats in the fields of conceptual art, and transforms their sounds into alien and distantly familiar dream worlds, each piece transcends the everyday and is designed to generate something in the listener. Synthesizers forming fractal sounds, with tenderness and drama, attracting energies that invites us to imagination. Haunting and visionary environmental rhythms, dream stories that forms a parallel universe, which proposes decay and love in an infinite and distorted world, beautiful and terrifying at the same time. “The Drowning Songs” published in 2020 features artwork made with artificial intelligence by robotanist David Atlas, who has made videos for bands like The 1975.
