Mario Rivera « Mayito » is a singer-composor born in Piñar del Rio (Cuba) in 1966. He studied percussions and piano. In the beginning of his career, he worked with singer-composer Albita Rodríguez. In 1992, he joined Los Van Van, the most popular group in Cuba.. Thanks to his incredible voice and power of expression, « Mayito » become an idol of the cuban popular scene.
