Maxeen White

Maxeen White was brought up on the Australian coast, on a small cheese farm. Her Childhood was a quiet one, consisting of snake wrangling and ant herding. Her parents were also brother and sister (which isn't uncommon on the small isle of Tasmania), so Maxeen was challenged with trying to make it in the hardcore cheese industry with an inbred intelligence. At the ripe old age of 8, she entered and won the "Miss Cheesy" beauty Pageant, and her family's business began to boom. Their biggest sellers were Gouda, Kefalotyri and Mascarpone. But things weren't all they seemed. Maxine, sitting on top of the cheese empire, couldn't help wondering if there was more out there. This was accentuated when she saw on her tiny black and white tv that they were sending monkeys into space. "I wish I could be a space monkey" she sighed. Then one day while churning her curds, maxeen's small brain flopped over and she had an idea. What if she called to the spaceships? Maybe they would hear her call and whisk her away from the all the cheese hoo-haa. So she began to yell, yodel, squeak beep and squwark, but nothing happened. Maxeen could hardly eat her Halumi hamburger for dinner she was so depressed. But that night, maxeen dreamt of space monkeys coming down to her after she had made beautiful music which they could not resist. In the morning, she limped purposefully up to her parents who were having a sibling/lovers tiff, and said "I'm quitting the cheese business ma and pa. I
