Mawkin:Causley was the musical collaboration between British instrumental four-piece Mawkin and Devon folk singer Jim Causley. They disbanded in 2010. BBC Radio 2 acknowledged both Mawkin’s guitarist David Delarre and Jim Causley as variously a Young Folk Award finalist and a Horizon Award nominee. The combination garnered a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nomination for “Best Group” following the success of their six-track sampler ‘Cold Ruin’ in 2008.
