MAWANA Slim Comorian musician, singer, composer-songwriter, he develops and materializes is artistical skill and talent trought Afro-Beat & Reggae. He is also a passionate and activ militante for the Pan-Africanism. He was inspired by artists like Fela Kuti, P.Akendengue, Bob Marley, Manu Dibango, James Brown, Jimi hendrix, Carlos Santana, Miles Davis & more. Awards winner in the « Prix de la CHANSON MAHORAISE » and the COMORES MUSIC AWARDS 2008.... In 2001, he release the album « WOZA MOYA », self-produced, followed in 2005 by « WAR FOR OIL ». This longed-for album denounce War, Racism and Africa imporverishment created by the occidental powers.
