Maurizio Pugno Maurizio Pugno ( Gubbio , 3 August 1966 ) is an Italian guitarist . He is a blues musician and producer. Biography In 1983, the family gave him the first electric guitar, which led him to study everything that revolves around African American music and Rock. The first band where he is the protagonist in the world of semi-professionalism is the ½ Blues Band, which was founded in 1985 and with which he begins to tread the first stages of central Italy. In 1988 he released the first LP titled "Mixaudio" where are represented several Umbrian realities, published by the record label QUADRIVIUM / EGEA , in which Pugno appears as arranger and performer together with the Wolves Blues Band , composed by RICO MIGLIARINI (voice and harmonica), MAURIZIO PUGNO (guitars and arrangements), ROBERTO GIULI (piano), LORENZO GHIGI (bass), MARCO FRANCIONI (drums), MIRKO PUGNO (trumpet), GIANNI MENICHETTI (alto sax), CARLO MENICHINI (tenor sax), FRANCESCO MENICHETTI (from 1987 to 1992, tenor saxophone), FEDERICO LENCI (from 1992 to 1995, tenor saxophone). With the Wolves Blues Band he played from 1988 to 1994 on tour in Italy (including Pistoia Blues in 1988), jammando with important musicians such as the jazz drummer Dennis Chambers with whom he played in 1993 at the Big Mama in Rome. In 1993 Pugno, arranges and writes his first tracks for the first Lp of the Wolves Blues Band (in vinyl) engraved for the jazz label EGEA and entitled "Last Nite" From 1995 to 1996 Maurizio Pu
