The band was formed in Fall '96 by Thomas (bass / vocals), Michael (guitars) & Lala (drums) as ZERO. Some 4-track recordings were made but Lala started to fail interest. After the replacement, in late '97, of Lala by Martin, things started to happen. In January '98, a demo is released & sold over 200 copies & obtain good reviews in Sweden. They giged & finaly change their name into MAURFAHR. Another demo is recorded & the band still giged around south of Sweden. Summer '99 was the time to go back in studio but a lot of incidents, such as an Eater tape-recorder, result in only one song, so in October the band hits again the studio to record 2 other tracks. Songs taken from their previous recordings are compiled on a CDr & sent to record labels. The result is a collaboration with Water Dragon records on "GREATEST HITS VOL.1". Unfortunetely, Martin (drums) left the band in September, because of some personal due, but Christoffer has joined the guys now. Recordings sessions are already planned for the end of the year.
