In 1997, while other artists were busy figuring out how to sample gregorian chants, and lay this on top of a generic beat, Matthew Davidson composed a complete modern Latin Mass - and sang all the parts using his three and a half octave vocal range. This effort was painstakingly recorded via successive passes on an Alesis ADAT - before the days of digital audio workstations and plug-in intonation correction.
